Poll: Update Profile Page Design (Round 2) (Updated)

If you’re a regular visitor, you probably know we’re working on updating the profile page design to make it more mobile-friendly and ready for the profile attributes change that we want to implement later. We’ve worked on the feedback from the previous poll. Now it’s time for a new evaluation round of the newest version.

One question from the previous poll didn’t show a clear winner:

  • Do we go for a rating widget that shows 10 stars where you can vote immediately, with one click?
  • Or do we go for a rating widget that takes up less space, is more like many big sites out there, but requires 3 clicks to rate?

We got some strong feedback from people on either side. So we implemented both and are going for a final showdown.

You can test it on any profile page by replacing /babe/ in the URL with /babenew/ or /babenew2/, but here are quick examples:
https://www.babepedia.com/babenew/Cristy_Ren (1-click rating widget)
https://www.babepedia.com/babenew2/Cristy_Ren (3-click rating widget)

https://www.babepedia.com/babenew/Karolina_Szymczak (1-click rating widget)
https://www.babepedia.com/babenew2/Karolina_Szymczak (3-click rating widget)

https://www.babepedia.com/babenew/Talise_Harris (1-click rating widget)
https://www.babepedia.com/babenew2/Talise_Harris (3-click rating widget)

Now onto the poll:

About the rating widget: Which version do you prefer?

The smaller 3-click rating widget
47.16%
The big 1-click rating widget
44.10%
I don't have a preference
8.73%

Overall impression - Do you think this new profile page design is an improvement?

Yes
61.57%
No
20.09%
I don't have a preference
18.34%

UPDATE July 12: The results of the poll show people like the changes, with a slight majority for the 3-click widget. So we’ve decided to go for that one when we launched the new profile page design. We will keep an eye on user feedback and engagement in the coming weeks.

If you have ideas beyond the profile page, please use our ideas page. The link for that is on the contact page.

these changes you are wanting to make are too confusing
please leave things the way they are because if they are too
confusing i will have to deactivate my account

  2. Is there a reason behind the non-anonymity of the voting process, and what is the significance of knowing who voted for what?

    • I agree. I voted against this change, and really wanted to keep the smaller size; it just looked more sophisticated.

  3. The only thing I liked about this new design was the country’s flag, representing the woman’s nationality. Just that. Other than that, I didn’t like it very much. But I can get used to it.

  4. Please give us the option to keep using the old version.
I’ll try to get used to the new one until there is an option, but it feels bloated.
