The Revolution of Creating Deepfakes with AI

The world around us is changing, with technology right at the center, driving the change. One piece of tech that is currently making the rave is deepfakes. In 2019, a video that featured Mark Zuckerberg claiming he has complete control over the stolen data of billions of people started making rounds online. Likewise, another video of Morgan Freeman questioning reality. Although both videos turned out fake – AI deepfakes, it shows how far we’ve come.

What is Deepfake Technology?

Deepfake is a combination of two words – deep learning and fake. It is a fusion of artificial intelligence and machine learning and uses Generative Adversarial Network (GAN) architecture and AI Neural networks to reconstruct inputs from a simpler representation. In other words, two AI algorithms battle each other. One GAN creates a fake image, while the other tries to detect if the image is manipulated or not. They both repeat the process until the latter cannot differentiate between false and real information.

Deepfake technology uses images, audio clips, and videos to create fake videos, audio, or images that look real. As a result, they often feature individuals in situations that never happened. The technology can even create a replica of original content and make it realistic.

How Porngen.art with its AI power makes all your wild fantasies come true

AI is an algorithm or series of algorithms with a wealth of data that has been trained to predict possibilities for a given input. Today, our world is no longer the same thanks to AI.

The presence of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in entertainment is a transformative phenomenon that is fundamentally redefining the way we consume and create content. AI has become a revolutionary force in various spheres of our society, and its influence is particularly marked in the entertainment industry. According to Globant, a digitally native technology services company, AI plays a crucial role in the entertainment industry. The survey highlights that approximately 12% of organizations in the sector have already incorporated AI into their projects, bringing significant benefits in translations, consumption analysis, design development, and melody creation.

Visual effects made by AI

AI plays a prominent role in the digital industry, surprisingly enhancing visual effects and animation. Through advanced algorithms, it is possible to create high-quality graphics and breathtaking scenes, making films more immersive and realistic. Additionally, it automates tedious tasks such as image rendering and physics simulation, allowing artists to focus on more creative aspects of the process.

This technology also extends to animation, where it can generate fluid and natural movements for characters and objects, saving time and resources. The results are more convincing and impactful animations. In other forms of online entertainment, AI is also expanding into niches that were previously unthinkable, for example, pornography.
