Poll: Update Profile Page Design

Earlier this year, we did a poll to ask you, the visitor, which features you’d like to see most. We are going to work on the two most requested features this year (profile attributes & improved design). Since the attributes require some tweaks to the design, we’re going to focus on the profile page design first.

The main goal of the profile page design is to make the top section more user-friendly, especially on mobile devices.

Right now, the profile page design is in a test phase. We already showed it to a small group of visitors a couple of weeks ago and gave them the option to leave feedback. We took some of the feedback and implemented it. Some other feedback was contradictory – One user wanted something, while another wanted the opposite. So we think it’s time for a poll.

But first, we need to show it to you. You can test it on any profile page by replacing /babe/ in the URL with /babenew/ but here are quick examples:
https://www.babepedia.com/babe/Cristy_Ren => https://www.babepedia.com/babenew/Cristy_Ren
https://www.babepedia.com/babe/Karolina_Szymczak => https://www.babepedia.com/babenew/Karolina_Szymczak
https://www.babepedia.com/babe/Salome_Larrea_Munoz => https://www.babepedia.com/babenew/Salome_Larrea_Munoz
https://www.babepedia.com/babe/Cumatozz => https://www.babepedia.com/babenew/Cumatozz

And some incomplete profiles:
https://www.babepedia.com/babe/Talise_Harris => https://www.babepedia.com/babenew/Talise_Harris (2 photos)
https://www.babepedia.com/babe/Suzanne_Grandais => https://www.babepedia.com/babenew/Suzanne_Grandais (1 photo)
https://www.babepedia.com/babe/Teresa_Seppala => https://www.babepedia.com/babenew/Teresa_Seppala (0 photos)

  1. Other recommended ‘Improvements’: [a] Search engine – aliases should produce results; [b] ‘Go Back’ button should NOT automatically ‘refresh’ the former page; [c] Perhaps have a separate ‘refresh’ button.

    • Can you send us more details via email?
      Specifically, which aliases are you searching for that are not producing results, where are you pressing “go back” and which page should have a separate refresh button and why?

  2. Forget new designs, do something about that Top 25, it’s beyond a joke, there are hundreds better looking yet it’s the same faces every single day,

      • The profiles pending removal pages don’t have a profile. Amy Morton, Suzie Mitchell, and Christie Ford are examples of girls that have profiles but no photo

        • The profiles pending removal page lists profile pages without a photo or profile info.
          So it will remove many profiles that don’t have a photo. We will focus on the page without a profile photo in the next phase.
          Please give it some time.

  3. The question on the collapsible biography section is ambiguous. I don’t know if I am voting in whether I like the previous way (which is what I am seeing) or liking the ideas posed here (that I have not seen). I like the ideas posed, but have never seen them in practice.

  4. I particularly dislike the โ€œanything below a six is a negativeโ€ admonition in the new rating system. I typically rate individuals on a bit of an Aโ€“F scale (1-2=F, 3-4=D โ€”still a passing grade; 5-6=C; 7-8=B; 9-10=A), so while 3-6 arenโ€™t great, theyโ€™re not specifically negative. Thatโ€™s just my 2ยข; thought Iโ€™d share. Keep up the good work!

    • Please submit your rising stars idea on our ideas page. The link is on the contact page.

      You can use “flag this profile” to suggest the removal of bad photos. Voting on photos may come later.

  5. MInor font bug: if the model is added to your favorites and you click on “added to favorites” to remove her, the color is changed correctly but the font of the button text is wrong (too small). Refreshing the page print it correctly.

  6. For the “horizontal scroller” question, I selected “I didn’t test it on mobile” because I don’t think it was working for me when I *was* testing it on my mobile and there wasn’t an option for that.

  7. Can you guys fix the add to list functionality on desktop? If you have a lot of lists it is impossible to add to the lowest lists on desktop

  8. Biography section: The 2-column layout in the new design makes use the space otherwise lost in the 1-column layout, which is great. However, the data within a section of each column should stay within its column. For example, in the new layout Personal data is in both columns 1 and 2, as is Body data. I find that this makes reading the data for its respective column disconnected from its section and harder to read. I think the data would be better served if it remained directly under its section header. For example, in row 1, all Personal data would be in column one, next to it in column 2 would be Body data. Row 2, columns 1 and 2 would be Performances and Extra, respectively.

    • We considered that. The problem is that the biography length is dynamic. You’ll have models where the personal section is complete but no or almost no information in the body section, and vice versa. This will result in one column being nearly empty and the other nearly full. There won’t be any balance like there is now.

      Also, we’re going to add personal attributes in the near future, which will make some sections much longer, making the imbalance potentially much bigger.

      We assumed the table-like structure would be perfect for this and we like it ourselves. But now we’re wondering, is anyone else experiencing the same disconnect as TJ here?

  9. This doesn’t apply specifically to these changes, but I would really like to see next to the name whether it has been added to my lists or not. This would be very helpful in orientation.
