I agree that the “Professions” list should probably be updated, or at least reviewed, but I think it should be approached carefully.
For example, “Student” could technically be replaced with something more specific, such as “College Student” or “University Student,” but maybe “Student” should probably be removed altogether. There is a privacy and safety issue with publicly identifying someone as currently being a student. There are unfortunately weirdos out there who could use that information to try to figure out where someone goes to school. Next thing you know, someone could be trying to track them down or even stalking them. 😬
I also think “Businesswoman” should be changed to “Entrepreneur.” It is more accurate and gender-neutral.
I definitely think the list needs some updating — but I'd be careful about simply adding more and more specific occupations without considering whether some of the information could create unnecessary privacy or safety concerns.
I agree that having student doesn't make sense, since it's not something you can be known for. Also basically everybody was a student at one point so should all profiles have Profession: Student (former)?

Being both a camgirl and an entrepreneur is fine, but no camgirl is known for being a hairdresser or "first responder".
So is actress and waitress.
