About Bella French

Bella French is a Montréal-based entrepreneur and the co-founder and CEO of ManyVids, a digital content platform for adult creators. She is a former adult performer and webcam model.

She studied fashion design and graduated from business school. She opened two stores in Montréal, the first at age 21 and the second at 27. Her store was flooded while she was not well insured, and she lost $200,000 overnight.

She began working as a webcam model around 2011 to stay afloat financially. She later performed in pornographic content, debuting around 2013. In a 2019 Penthouse interview, she discussed downsizing her implants from 1,200cc at their largest to 800cc and returning to her natural hair colour. She has largely stepped back from camming and performing to focus on running ManyVids.

She co-founded ManyVids in 2014, initially as a personal site for selling videos, and later expanded it with tech partners. She served as founding CFO before becoming CEO. She has used her experiences as a performer to inform the platform's model-centric approach. The platform emphasizes creator control and multiple revenue streams and has positioned itself as more creator-friendly than some competitors. She has been a public advocate for sex workers' rights and for reducing stigma in the industry. In late 2025, French announced that she had shifted from a supportive to an abolitionist stance on sex work, stating that her new goal would be to "transition one million people out of the adult industry" and prevent any new entrants. The site's social media and internal newsfeed also shifted from largely promotional content to AI-generated text and images about metaphysics, extraterrestrial life and numerology. Several adult creators on the platform criticized the posts as "bizarre" and expressed concern that they would be forced off ManyVids. As of 2026, her website and recent coverage associate her with ManyVids as co-founder and CEO, although there have been rumours and reports of shifts in her role or ownership.
