Dutch model Ivana Smit was born in The Netherlands on January 14, 1999, but was raised by her Malaysian grandparents. When she was 16 she went back to live with her parents in The Netherlands, and competed in several modeling contests in The Netherlands and Belgium. Her return to her parents also ment that she lived a more wild lifestyle (her grandparents were said to be pretty strict), her dad is rumored to be a member of the motorgang Satudarah. Her grandparents say that when she went back to live with her parents her life went 'from extreme to extreme'. Pretty vague description, but I guess they meant she went out a lot and probably experimented with alcohol and/or drugs.

Between 16 and 18 she went back to Malaysia and resided in Kuala Lumpur, the capital. She had a German boyfriend, Lukas, who also lived there. She didn't leave her wild lifestyle in The Netherlands though and was a regular in the Kuala Lumpur nightlife. In the club Mantra she met couple Alex and Luna Johnson. They were a friend of her former roommate Adam White. She lived in his apartment for a while, whilst looking for another place. She eventually moved in with her boyfriend Lukas. Alex said he never had any sexual relation with Ivana and as far as I know everyone around them hasn't said otherwise. Ivana was very charmed by Alex and Luna, a 44 year old business man and his 32 year old wife. He is active in the cryptocurrency branche.

Alex and Luna regularly had threesomes and this was well-known in their circle of friends. According to their friend Adam, Luna is bisexual and Alex doesn't have a problem with an extra woman in the bedroom once in a while. Ivana was apparently very intrigued by this and on the night she met the couple, she was all over Luna -- according to Adam. I have to add that in a recent court setting it was proved that the dates Adam provided (when Ivana met the couple, when she was attending parties) were incorrect and that she wasn't even in the city when he said she was.

But on December 6 2017, Ivana was partying with the Johnsons. She had a fight with her boyfriend Lukas, because she wanted him to come with her but he declined, saying he had to work early the next morning. Ivana and the Johnsons decided to continue partying at the apartment of the Johnsons, and they can be seen leaving the club on security footage. Alex Johnson is carrying Ivana to the elevator. The next afternoon, on December 7, Ivana is found at the bottom of their apartment. Naked, bruised and unfortunately not alive anymore. She fell from their apartment on the 20th floor, to the bottom of the 6th floor. Her shoes and underwear still haven't been found. What happened?

The Malaysian police originally called it a suicide, but this month they have re-opened the case and treat it as a homicide. The Johnsons claim they have nothing to do with Ivana's death, that they continued partying at their apartment, doing drugs and that they had sex with Ivana. The next morning, Luna left the apartment to drop their daughter off at school. Luna says Ivana was sleeping on the couch at that moment, and when she came back Ivana was gone -- she assumed Ivana had left the apartment to go home. Alex says he woke up and didn't see Ivana. When they found her body in the afternoon, the Johnsons immediately had to go to the police office, from where they instructed their housekeeper to clean the apartment thoroughly. It seems as they were able to contact multiple people while at the police station.

Drugs and alcohol were found in Ivana's blood. Originally, it was stated that there were no bruises (except from the fall), but it has come out that there were bruises found, that corroborate with abuse. The Johnsons deny any wrong-doing and insist that Ivana jumped off the balcony herself. So what happened?

In my opinion it's obvious that the Johnsons know way more than they claim. I think the main question is if she was still alive when she made the fall, or if she was already deceased. The most probable theories I can come up with are these:

- Ivana OD'd, the Johnsons freaked out and threw her off the balcony to make it look like a suicide. If this is true, why would they instruct the housekeeper to clean the apartment? Perhaps to get rid of any leftover drugs?

- Ivana had a fight things got physical and the Johnsons threw her of the balcony. Neighbors of the couple have stated that they heard screaming and shouting coming from the apartment.

- When Luna left to drop their daughter off at the daycare, Alex tried to get it on with Ivana, who wasn't interested. It is said Ivana was mostly interested in Luna, so perhaps Alex got mad when she rejected him and things got worse from there.

I'm very interested to see what you all think of this case. I'm not familiar at all with the system in Malaysia, so I have no clue if there's any hope for justice for Ivana.
