About Kayla Birungi
Kayla was a Ugandan blogger and model who traveled to Dubai in search of exposure and modeling jobs, but upon being recruited in 2021 to participate in secret Porta Potty parties, the experiences led her to suicide by jumping from the window of a building where she was staying in the city.
This began to raise a general alarm denouncing these abuses, which was reinforced by the similar death of her compatriot Monic_Karungi the following year. This gained even more general attention with the violent assault on the Ukrainian Maria_Kovalchuk in 2025.
