About Monic Karungi
Monic was a Ugandan model and blogger who traveled to Dubai seeking visibility and opportunities. She was recruited to participate in private hardcore parties with ultra-rich local men called Porta Potty. As a consequence of her experiences there, she committed suicide by jumping from the building where she was staying.
Her death revived the alarm that, a year earlier, the death of her compatriot Kayla_Birungi had triggered when she died in almost identical circumstances also in Dubai.
