Tanya Michelle Beyer is Miss February 1992, the tall Colorado blonde who photographs brunette as often as not and still gets passed around for the bush. She was born June 4, 1971, in St. Paul and raised in Colorado Springs, the second of three sisters. Skiing, gymnastics, track, cheerleading. Homecoming queen at William Mitchell High in 1989. Playboy quoted her calling herself “one of the last virgins in my senior class.” She was 20 when the issue hit.
The sheet had her at 5'8½", 123 pounds, 36-25-35. Natural tits, long legs, athletic waist. Vintage listings say blonde and blue-eyed; a lot of the pictures come out darker. She is the taller, sporty one from that year: real chest, an ass people still mention, and more pubic hair than the landing-strip look that took over a few years later.

She did not come in off a beach contest. One year as the star client at a small Colorado agency, then Milan with $800 and two pictures in the book. Italy, Greece, Taiwan, Japan before she could legally drink at home. She told Playboy the look they wanted in Europe was skinny and trendy, and she was not that. “Happy-smiley-face, healthy-athletic.” Bodywork paid the bills. When they shot her she was bouncing between Europe and L.A. Stephen Wayda did the February 1992 pictorial.

Around the Mansion she got grouped with the other young Playmates from that stretch — Wendy Kaye, Julie Clarke, Cady Cantrell, Tiffany Sloan, Echo Johnson, Jennifer LeRoy — the pack fans later tagged the “dream teens.” That was never an official title. After the centerfold she stayed in the lingerie specials and the Wet & Wild / Sexy Lingerie tapes. In 1993–94 she showed up under the name Tanohm O'Brien in a non-sex part in the hardcore feature Fantasy Women. The last Playboy-adjacent nudes tied to her name land around 2008.
Fans still go back to the same things: the tits, the ass, the bush, and that she looks like a real woman in the pictures. The lingerie sets get as much love as the gatefold. Natural 36. Brunette in some frames, golden in others.
