About Pamela Genini
The Italian model and businesswoman Pamela Genini, 29, was stabbed to death on Tuesday night in Milan, Italy, by her partner Gianluca Soncin, 52. The crime took place on the terrace of an apartment in the Gorla neighborhood. The man, who had already stalked her in the previous months, had entered the house with a copy of the keys made without her knowledge. Alerted by her screams, the neighbors immediately called 112. Within seconds, however, the 52-year-old—who for over a year had threatened to kill her and her mother, humiliated her, beaten her, attempted to strangle her, and held a gun to her stomach—had stabbed her more than 30 times , before the police were able to break down the apartment door. Soncin, originally from Biella, previously arrested for a luxury car scam and with a criminal record for assault, had staged a suicide attempt after the murder. He was stopped and subsequently arrested on charges of murder, aggravated by premeditation, cruelty, frivolous motives, and the bond of an emotional relationship, as well as stalking.
Born in Strozza, a small village in the province of Bergamo, Pamela divided her routine between Milan, Monte Carlo, and Dubai, and defined herself as a “model and young entrepreneur.” She was the co-founder of the bikini brand EP SheLux, created alongside her friend Elisa Bortolotti.
The young woman began her national prominence through participating in the topless reality show The Island of Adam and Eve when she was 19 years old.
