About Geike Arnaert
Geike Amaert is a Belgian musician, best known as one of the many lead vocalists of the electronic/trip hop band Hooverphonic. She first joined the band in 1997, replacing original vocalist Liesje Sadonius. During her tenure with the band, they scored one of their biggest hit, "Mad About You." Amaert left Hooverphonic in 2008 and was replaced by Noemie Wolfs. Amaert spent the next dozen years concentrating on her solo career before rejoining Hooverphonic in 2020.
