About Reeta Vestman
Reeta Vestman is a Finnish actress and singer. Reeta has gratuated from both Royal Academy of Music in London, where she studied Musical Theatre and Sibelius Academy in Helsinki. She has played numerous musical theatre leads such as Maria in The Sound of Music, Stephanie in Saturday Night Fever, Betsy in Honeymoon in Vegas and Janet in The Rocky Horror Show. Besides musicals Reeta has also done straight plays such as the lead Young Aliide in Purge by Sofi Oksanen and Miss Bingley in Pride and Prejudice. In 2020 she appeared as Linda in the tv-drama Syke and Sirpa in feature film Metsäjätti.
Among acting Reeta Vestman is a active musician and singer. In 2004-2020 she toured the world as the lead singer of a cinematic pop group Husky Rescue and published four critically acclaimed albums. Husky Rescue performed in big festivals such as Glastonbury, Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits and their music has been featured in various tv-shows as Sopranos and One Tree Hill.
