About Elisa Simoni

Elisa Simoni (born 26 July 1973) is an Italian politician.

Born in Figline Valdarno, Simoni graduated in political science and later earned a master’s degree in education and human resource management. She served as secretary of the Democrats of the Left in Valdarno Fiorentino and as a councilor in the municipality of Incisa in Val d’Arno. From 2006 to 2009 she was Provincial Councillor for Education in the administration led by Matteo Renzi, and from 2009 to 2013 she served as Provincial Councillor for Labor under the administration of Andrea Barducci.

She was elected to the Italian Parliament in February 2013 with the Democratic Party. Since 2018, following the end of her parliamentary experience, she has been working as Head of Communications and Public Relations for a large multinational company.
