It's ridiculous as to how many users don't understand what "Nationality" and/or "Please specify if different from country of birth" means.

Ethnicity and nationality are not synonyms... If someone is ethnically French and Italian but born in/citizen of the US, they're American, not French or you Italian.
Also, "Please specify if different from country of birth" clearly means don't add a nationality if it's the same as the birthplace.

Pretty easy and straightforward, is it not?
