I completely agree. The fact that the bios are open to anyone is by far the worst feature of the site. Even Wikipedia, a site based off of being completely open, has it's limitations for newer and less active users.

I'm by no means an AnaSTAN, but she's miles ahead of Marilyn Monroe. Women back then typically looked better than what they really were because of extremely bright lighting and softening of photos. There's obviously exceptions, but be wary of those whose pictures are always so bright that you can barely see the contours of their nose. Film quality sucked back then, and people knew it, which is why they were able to use such tricks.
