About Dasha Nekrasova
Daria "Dasha" Dmitrievna Nekrasova (Belarusian: Дар’я Дзмітрыеўна Някрасава, romanized: Darja Dzmitryjeŭna Niakrasava; Russian: Дарья Дмитриевна Некрасова) is a Belarusian-American actress, filmmaker, internet personality, and podcast host.
On March 29, 2018, Nekrasova started the cultural commentary podcast "Red Scare", with co-host, cultural critic and writer Anna Khachiyan. The show has been associated with both the dirtbag left and the new right as well as the subculture surrounding Dimes Square, a micro-neighborhood between Chinatown and the Lower East Side neighborhoods of New York City. It covers current topics in American culture and politics in both a comedic and serious tone.
In 2020, Nekrasova made her directing debut in "The Scary of Sixty-First", starring herself, Betsey Brown, and Madeline Quinn.
In a 2021 interview with the New York Times, Sydney Sweeney stated that her "mean girl" portrayal in White Lotus was inspired by Nekrasova and co-host Khachiyan.
In November 2021, Nekrasova posted to Instagram a photo of herself with Alex Jones, the host of "Infowars", and subsequently praised Jones on her podcast "Red Scare" as "an incredible entertainer".
Nekrasova appears in a supporting role in season three of the HBO drama Succession as Comfrey, a crisis PR rep.
In 2024, Nekrasova was featured in and modelled for No Agency New York Magazine's "No Erotica Issue #4", where she appeared topless.
In an interview with The Face in June 2024, Charli XCX revealed that her song "Mean Girls" on her 2024 album "BRAT" was about her “fascination with mean girls”, inspired in part by Nekrasova and by Charli’s own interest in why “succubus-looking, dead-eyed women” like herself and her friend Gabriette Bechtel are often passed off as being mean.
Nekrasova is of Belarusian descent. She married visual artist Reilly Sinanan in May 2025. She has dated musician Daniel Lopatin, better known as Oneohtrix Point Never, and is the former fiancée of comedian Adam Friedland, a host of the retired podcast "CumTown", and current host of "The Adam Friedland Show". She is a self-described "Slovak Ruthenian Carpatho-Rusyn Greek" Eastern Catholic. She is highly critical of Pope Francis, and has referred to him as a "layperson", "heretic", and "antipope".
As of July 2025, Dasha has amassed 139,000 followers on Instagram.

Not bad, I like the profile pic where she's wearing the skirt and white socks

She was smart like 8 years ago, but has since become a grifter.

A grifter is someone who fakes their views for financial or personal gain. 8 years ago, her political beliefs got her glowing magazine profiles and appearances on multiple late night television shows. Then her views changed and she's been kicked out of Hollywood. It's ridiculous to say she's BECOME a grifter because she made a change that lost her establishment approval. It's obviously the opposite.

Agreed. Reddit-brained normies/the 95-105 IQ, midwit crowd don't know what it's like to grow up, experience new things, and adapt ones personal views based on their real-world experiences. Their lives often revolve around doomscrolling and a screen, so said experience and growth is alien to them.
I've been a Red Scare sub for years now, and both Dasha and Anna are very intelligent, very self-aware, and good people overall. They just released an episode a few hours ago, and Dasha is basically laughing off this booking agency and could care about them dropping her, which was good to hear.
