About Tamia Hill
Tamia is married to Grant Hill (famous NBA professional) and is good friends with Montel Williams, who has hosted her as a guest, frequently, on the Montel Williams Show. Tamia has two daughters, and prefers her privacy, over the spotlight. Tamia has been battling multiple sclerosis, since being diagnosed in 2003. She’s very religious, came from humble origins (in a poor Canadian neighborhood) and does most of her professional work, behind the scenes (from her own record label/ company). She’s best known for her Grammy winning/ best female R&B vocal performance, “You Put a Move on my Heart,” 1998 debut.

I had the biggest crush on this lovely lady, back when I was in HS. I never understood why she didn’t become the next Whitney Houston? I thought her voice was better, and she was fine! “You Put a Move on my Heart,” is still one of my favorite songs...ever!
