Christine Flores, known professionally as Christina Milian, is an American singer, songwriter, and actress born on September 26, 1981, in Jersey City, New Jersey. Raised in Waldorf, Maryland, by her Afro-Cuban parents, she showed an intense passion for the entertainment industry from early childhood. Her mother recognized her talent and relocated the family to Los Angeles when Milian was thirteen years old to help her pursue professional auditions, leading to early work in commercials and musical theater.
