Julia Lyndon was Playboy magazine's Playmate of the Month for its August 1977 issue. Her centerfold was photographed by Phillip Dixon.

Julia, the sister of actress Sydne Rome, was an equestrienne who was in training for the Summer Olympics, but eventually fell out of interest in that. She took up cooking, among other things, and in 1996 The Playmate Book reported that Julia was believed to be running a restaurant in South America. She died on August 1st 2019, aged 61, of a combination of over-the-counter drugs.
