About Jill Taylor
Jill Taylor (born October 14, 1951, in Van Nuys, California) is an American model best known as Playboy magazine's Playmate of the Month for its January 1970 issue. Taylor was 18 years old when the issue was published. Because Playboy typically photographed Playmates weeks or months before publication, it has sometimes been suggested that portions of her pictorial may have been photographed before her eighteenth birthday. However, reliable sources do not appear to confirm this. In any event, the pictorial was not published until after Taylor had turned 18.
Taylor was an only child; her father was a barber and her mother a beautician. At the time the photo spread was taken, she attended high school in Burbank, California. As with many of the girls who have posed for Playboy, Taylor was not her real last name. In her high school yearbook, she was voted the girl with the best physique.
After her stint with Playboy, she converted from Judaism to Christianity and married. She worked for a time in a retail chain store's telemarketing office in Glendale, California.
She now lives in Oregon. She has two sons and three grandchildren.
