About Callie Cosplay

Leah was born in Huntsville, Alabama on August 15, 1991. After moving to Florida in 1994, Leah grew up in Lakeland and graduated Valedictorian from Mulberry High School in 2009. She was a Silver Garland recipient in the Music Category. Leah attended Florida Southern College where she studied Music Education/ Management. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She was a talented musician, writer, artist and photographer. Her creative gift led her to becoming a Professional Cosplayer, known as Callie Cosplay. Leah would often say 'I dress up as superheroes because I want to bring smiles to people's faces and do good in this world.' Leah did indeed do this. Her smile warmed hearts throughout the globe. Leah was truly a kind and generous soul.

I did some research. Apparently her mom posted on her Facebook page on October 5.
She had a long painful illness, possibly a battle with cancer. Cause of her death is vague.

Yes she was very ill and had multiple issues and 1 of them took her sadly. Even when she was in such pain, she still thought of others and especially her fans. She loved her fans like a family. She would keep them updated on things and all that the best she could. Her death was sudden but not too shocking. But still very sad.
