New features should be implemented for veteran users. There are too many profiles with bad photos, duplicates and outdated profiles all over the site. Many of the registered users are experienced enough to fix them. If these features were implemented, they would be quite useful, as they could keep the site up to date and with minimal bug reporting.

I agree with this, although I feel like it should be less tools for non-veteran users rather than more tools for veterans. I say this as I feel that there are more issues with new users having too many options rather than veteran users not having enough options.

We've implemented several ideas based on this:
Veteran users are users with trusted or top contributor status (see our FAQ for more info). They have access to tools like the revision history. Top contributors can upload more photos. Regular users are limited in the number of edits they can make. We plan to extend this over time.
