Yuridia del Carmen Durán Peña (born December 20, 1998, in Ahuacatlán, Nayarit, Mexico) is a Mexican model, beauty pageant titleholder, television presenter and actress. Her full name is Yuridia del Carmen Peña Durán.
Durán was born on December 20, 1998, in the municipality of Ahuacatlán, Nayarit. As of 2019, she was studying to become a dental surgeon at the Universidad Autónoma de Nayarit, completing her degree in Dentistry from 2017 to 2023.
At 19 years old, Yuridia was crowned Reina de la Feria de Nayarit 2018. That same year, while still holding this title, she decided to participate in Mexicana Universal Nayarit 2018, which took place on December 15, 2018, where she was the winner. On June 23, 2019, the final of Mexicana Universal was held, and Yuridia won the title of Mexicana Universal Internacional 2020, being crowned by Mariem Velazco, Miss International 2018.
She represented Mexico at the Miss International 2022 pageant, which took place at Tokyo Dome, Japan, where she did not place in the top 15.
Beyond her pageant career, Durán has expanded into television and media. According to her LinkedIn profile, she works as a news presenter at TelevisaUnivision since December 2024, based in Mexico City. She is also a TV host, actress and entrepreneur, hosting the morning news program Expreso de la Mañana and covering entertainment notes for other Televisa programs.
Durán maintains her connection to her home state of Nayarit while building her career in Mexico City's entertainment and journalism industries.
