About Wendy Hiller
Born in 1912, Wendy Hiller was an English actress. She mainly acted in theatre and found her first success in the stage version of "Love on the dole" (1934). The author's play was Ronald Gowe whom she married three years later. They had two children. During her long career, Wendy Hiller also starred in several classic movies including "Murder on the Orient Express" (1974), "The Cat and the Canary" (1978) and "The Elephant Man" (1980).
