About Vex Ashley

Vex Ashley is a filmmaker, writer, and artist whose work explores the intersections of sex, performance, and visual culture. After rejecting the traditional role of the "muse" and spending three years at art school, she turned to camming, embracing the internet as a space for creative expression. This experience led her to establish Four Chambers, a project that challenges and expands the possibilities of sex on film—redefining what it can say, do, and represent.

As a vocal advocate for independent and creative pornography, Vex speaks and writes extensively about sex as performance, authenticity in art, and the evolving relationship between technology and desire. She also engages with themes of censorship, the politics of online labor, and—perhaps unexpectedly—the music and lyrics of Fiona Apple.

Through both her artistic practice and critical discourse, Vex continues to push boundaries, questioning norms and reimagining the ways sex and cinema intersect.
