About Thalia Tran
Thalia Tran is a talented Vietnamese-American actress who has been captivating Hollywood with her striking versatility and strong screen presence. Born and raised in Newport Beach, California, she initially entered the entertainment world through vocal training, which quickly expanded into a passion for acting after her singing coach recommended performance classes. In television, she achieved widespread global recognition for portraying the detached, knife-throwing master Mai in Netflix's live-action adaptation of 'Avatar: The Last Airbender', a role that demanded extensive martial arts and weaponry training to execute the character's precise combat style. Alongside this iconic fantasy franchise, Tran is highly celebrated for voicing the fierce, con-artist toddler Little Noi in Disney's Academy Award-nominated animated feature 'Raya and the Last Dragon' (2021), and she previously held main roles as Charlotte Perry in the drama series 'Council of Dads' (2020) and as Raina in the comedy film 'Little' (2019). Beyond her on-screen achievements, she continues to showcase her creative range as a passionate singer-songwriter who plays the piano, guitar, and ukulele.
