Miyako (formerly Miya Cech) is a talented Asian-American actress who has rapidly risen from a toddler print model in Northern California to one of Hollywood’s most promising young stars. Born in Tokyo, Japan, and adopted at five weeks old, she has built an impressive filmography defined by expressive emotional depth and strong physical performances, notably starring as the iconic, blind earthbender Toph Beifong in Netflix's live-action 'Avatar: The Last Airbender' series. She first captured global attention in her feature film debut as the silent, electricity-manipulating Zu in The 'Darkest Minds' (2018), and later solidified her status as a streaming powerhouse by leading the sci-fi adventure 'Rim of the World' (2019) as Zhen Zhen and portraying the younger version of Ali Wong's character in 'Always Be My Maybe' (2019).
