Susie is a fashion designer, entrepreneur, and former model and occasional actress. Born in Cheshire to a diplomat father, she spent her childhood in Malawi and Nigeria. At the age of 14, she ran away from boarding school to New York, where she was discovered by a modelling agent. She married singer Nick Cave in 1999. She co-founded the fashion label The Vampire's Wife.
