About Susan Bernard
American author, actress, model and businesswoman from Los Angeles, California. Susan Bernard was born into Hollywood glitter at a time when Hollywood glamor reached its zenith. Her father was Nazi Holocaust survivor and photographer to the stars, Bruno Bernard ("Bernard of Hollywood"). Her mother was stage actress and directrix Ruth Brand. In recent years Ms. Bernard dedicated her career to the memory of her father's works. In 1999 she partially resumed her disjointed movie career with a bit role in The Mao Game (1999), which starred her son Joshua John Miller, who also wrote and directed the autobiographical flick.

I have a question. This photoset has 9 pictures in it. Photo 6 and photo 9 seem WAY too graphic for the magazine at the time. Are you sure those 2 photos are actually of Susan Bernard, playmate? Would her father have taken those kinds of pictures of her in 1966? Could they have been altered in some way? Photo #9 especially does not look like Susan. The face is thinner, and the hair is shinier.

you seem confused. Many photos on here are NOT, under any model, from the actual playmate shoot, and taken either years later or from the hundreds of thousands of photos they took of each girl many months in advance, to then shift through and choose, that was the job that took many months. They simply cropped out the vagina or pubes in the 50s and 60s,but the July 1968 playmate had some pubic hair shown, but full pubic hair was shown on January 1971 playmate, and full frontal labia with January 1972. After that any and all 50s and 60s playmates photos in the archive were released with full frontal and pubes if such photos were taken at the time.
