About Staci Keanan

Anastasia Love Sagorsky, also known professionally as Staci Keanan, is an American lawyer, law professor, and former actress. Keanan is best known for portraying the role of Nicole Bradford on the NBC sitcom My Two Dads from 1987 to 1990 and Dana Foster on the ABC/CBS sitcom Step by Step from 1991 to 1998, alongside cast members including Suzanne Somers, Patrick Duffy, Angela Watson, and Christine Lakin. She also appeared in the sitcom Going Places and films including the psychological thriller Lisa.

After largely leaving acting behind, Sagorsky pursued a second career in law. She graduated cum laude from UCLA in 2002 with a B.A. in Art History and a minor in French, then earned her J.D. from Southwestern Law School in 2013. She served as a Deputy District Attorney in Riverside County from 2013 to 2016 before joining the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, where she has prosecuted cases involving domestic violence, sex crimes, gang crimes, and homicide.

In 2021, Sagorsky joined Southwestern Law School as an adjunct professor of law, combining legal education with her continuing work as a Los Angeles County deputy district attorney. Her transition from a successful television career to prosecution and legal education has given her a notably distinct second professional career.
