About Sayaka Kurara

Sayaka Kurara (玖麗さやか, Kurara Sayaka) is a Japanese professional wrestler. As of December 2023, she is signed to World Wonder Ring Stardom, where she serves as co-leader of the Cosmic Angels stable and is a former World of Stardom Champion.

Kurara decided to become a professional wrestler after witnessing a Stardom match between Giulia (Eimi Gloria Matsudo) and Tam Nakano, applying for the promotion's rookie program that same evening. She debuted with World Wonder Ring Stardom in December 2023 against Saya Kamitani. After joining the Cosmic Angels with Aya Sakura in early 2024, she experienced a rapid ascent: winning the Stardom Cinderella Tournament in March 2025 and capturing both the New Blood Tag Team Championship and the Goddesses of Stardom Tag League alongside Sakura later that year. In April 2026 at All Star Grand Queendom, Kurara defeated Kamitani to win the World of Stardom Championship, ending Kamitani's 483-day reign and saving her stable from disbandment. After a 55-day reign and a successful defense against Maki Itoh, she lost the title to Suzu Suzuki and subsequently announced a temporary hiatus in September 2026 to treat an injury.
