About Sabrina Carpenter
Sabrina Annlynn Carpenter is an American singer and actress. She made her acting debut with an appearance in the television crime show Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (2011) and had a recurring role on Fox's The Goodwin Games (2011). She gained recognition for her leading roles in the Disney Channel comedy series Girl Meets World (2014–2017) and the Disney Channel Original Movie Adventures in Babysitting (2016). She has since starred in several feature films, including Horns (2013), The Hate U Give (2018), The Short History of the Long Road (2019), Clouds (2020), and Emergency (2022). She also starred in Netflix films, Tall Girl (2019), its sequel (2022), and Work It (2020), the latter of which she also executive produced.
Carpenter signed with Hollywood Records and released her debut single "Can't Blame a Girl for Trying" and EP of the same name in 2014. Her debut studio album, Eyes Wide Open, was released in 2015. She followed it with the studio albums Evolution (2016), Singular: Act I (2018) and Singular: Act II (2019), which were supported by singles such as "Thumbs", "Almost Love", "Sue Me" and "Alien", the latter three of which topped the US Dance Club Songs chart. She collaborated with Norwegian DJ Alan Walker on the 2019 single "On My Way".
Moving to Island Records in 2021, Carpenter released the single "Skin", her first song to chart on the US Billboard Hot 100, peaking at number 48. In 2022, she released her fifth studio album, Emails I Can't Send (2022), which charted at number 23 on the Billboard 200, marking Carpenter's highest-ranking album in the US, and she embarked on a concert tour of the same name to support the album. "Nonsense" and "Feather", two singles from Emails I Can't Send, peaked at numbers 56 and 29 on the Hot 100, respectively; "Feather" marked Carpenter's first-ever top-40 entry on the chart. Carpenter opened for Taylor Swift at the Eras Tour and released the Christmas EP Fruitcake in 2023.
Carpenter is of German and Irish descent.
As of March 2024, she has amassed 33.0 million followers on Instagram, 15.4 million followers on TikTok and 6.48 million subscribers on her YouTube platform.
