Dove Cameron is an American actress and singer. She is best known for playing identical twins Liv Rooney and Maddie Rooney on Liv and Maddie, Mal in the Disney Channel Original Movie Descendants and its two sequels, Ruby Hale on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and Ghost-Spider in the Marvel Rising series.

Dove came out as bisexual in 2020 in an Instagram Live session, and later appeared on the cover of the summer issue of Gay Times.

As of October 2025, Dove has amassed 47.2 million followers on Instagram, 14.4 million followers on TikTok and 2.54 million subscribers on her YouTube platform.

In September 2021, Dove got tattoos of the words “celestial” on her left upper wrist and “body” on her right upper wrist.

In January 2022, on her 26th birthday, Dove got a sword tattooed on her wrist.

In 2022, Dove got an abstract line tattooed on her inner forearm. It is located below another tattoo that reads “candy is dandy”. Later that year, she got a thick gothic script tattoo on the side of her right hand.

Dove has a tattoo on her right thumb that reads “none of this is real”, the word “Immortal” tattooed on the inside of her right wrist, a tattoo of the phrase “do it for Aphrodite” on the side of her arm, and a snake tattoo on her ankle. She also has the phrase “À Naître” tattooed on the inside of her left wrist.

She has an ankle tattoo that reads “Matière D’étoiles”.

Dove also has several tattoos on her fingers including a snake on her middle finger. She has other tattoos too like stars, arrows, and other constellation designs on her pinky, pointer, and ring fingers.

In February 2023, Dove revealed a hip tattoo that reads “ride swift” in a cursive font.
