Trivia:
Her stage name is taken from the Supreme Alphabet, where "Z" and "A" stand for "Zig-Zag" and "Allah," respectively. Her critically-acclaimed album SOS won three Grammys including Best Pop Song for her hit "Snooze."
Family life:
She was born Solána Imani Rowe and grew up in Maplewood, New Jersey. Her father was a CNN producer while her mother worked for AT&T. She has an older half-sister named Tiffany. She has a niece Jessica Patrick.
