Rika Shimura (志村理佳，Shimura Rika) is a former Japanese idol and entertainer, best known as a founding member and leader of the J-pop group SUPER☆GiRLS.
Shimura was a first-generation member of SUPER☆GiRLS, which was part of the iDOL Street project under Avex Trax. She served in multiple leadership roles within the group, acting as both leader and sub-leader during her tenure. She was with the group from its formation until her graduation on June 24, 2018, when she officially left both SUPER☆GiRLS and the iDOL Street project.
During her time with SUPER☆GiRLS, Shimura participated in numerous singles, albums, concerts and promotional activities as part of the group's energetic pop performances. SUPER☆GiRLS was known for their upbeat, cheerful style and became one of the notable idol groups of the 2010s in Japan.
Following her graduation from the group in 2018, Shimura maintained a presence on social media platforms, including Instagram (@rika_shimura) and previously had an official blog on Ameba titled "りかたそのおばかな日記" (Rikatan's Foolish Diary), which was last updated around the time of her graduation.
Born in the early 1990s (specifically in the 1990-1994 range according to idol databases), Shimura built her career primarily in the Japanese idol entertainment industry through her work with iDOL Street and SUPER☆GiRLS, establishing herself as a recognizable figure in the J-pop idol scene during the 2010s.
