About Ami Maeshima

Ami Maeshima is a Japanese voice actress, and singer from Saitama Prefecture. She is best known for her roles in multimedia franchises like BanG Dream!, D4DJ and for her former leadership of the idol group SUPER☆GiRLS.

Idol Beginnings: She began her career in 2010 as a founding member of the idol group SUPER☆GiRLS after passing the Avex Idol Audition. She eventually became the group's leader before graduating in March 2017 to focus on acting and voice work.

Voice Acting: Maeshima is widely recognized for voicing Aya Maruyama, the vocalist of Pastel*Palettes in the BanG Dream! franchise. She also voiced Ibuki Niijima in the D4DJ project until 2022.

Solo Artist Debut: In November 2024, she made her debut as a solo artist with the album Determination under King Records. Her first single, "Wish for you," served as the opening theme for the anime Private Tutor to the Duke's Daughter in 2025.
