About Rebecca Gibney

Rebecca Gibney is a New Zealand-Australian actress, producer, writer and TV host. She is best known for her roles as Jane Halifax in the TV crime drama telemovie series Halifax f.p. (1994-2002), and its spin-off TV miniseries Halifax: Retribution (2020), as well as her role as Julie Rafter in the TV family comedy-drama series Packed to the Rafters (2008-2013); which earned her the Gold Logie Award for Most Popular Personality on Australian Television at the 2009 TV Week Logie Awards. As of 2026, she is the host of the rebooted TV quiz show Millionaire Hot Seat on Network 10.

She appeared completely nude on-screen in the 1983 coming-of-age film Among the Cynders (which featured several examples of full frontal and rear nudity from her).

As of December 2023, she has amassed 213,000 followers on Instagram. In March 2026, she revealed that she was diagnosed with Autism and ADHD.
