Paulina is a prominent Mexican singer, songwriter, actress, model, television personality, and businesswoman. She began her career as a child and first gained fame as an original member of the hugely popular Mexican pop group Timbiriche (1982–1991). After leaving the group, she launched a successful solo career in 1992 with her debut album La Chica Dorada. Her breakthrough as a solo artist came with albums like: Paulina (2000) — her most successful record, which helped revive Latin pop in the 2000s. She has sold over 15 million records worldwide, making her one of the best-selling Latin music artists of all time.
She is known for hits blending pop, dance, and Latin rhythms. She has also worked as a judge on music competition shows (like The X Factor or similar Latin versions), acted in films and TV, modeled, and built business ventures.
