About Nicole Brown Simpson
Nicole Brown Simpson was a German-born American woman best known as the second wife of former NFL star and actor O.J. Simpson. She was a mother of two, worked occasionally as a model and TV host, and was a victim of domestic abuse during her marriage. She and Simpson married in 1985, divorced in 1992, and had an on-and-off relationship afterward.
She was murdered on June 12, 1994, at age 35, outside her condominium in Brentwood, Los Angeles, California, along with her friend Ron Goldman. The official cause of death was murder by stabbing (multiple sharp force injuries). Her autopsy revealed she sustained numerous stab wounds to the neck and scalp, including a devastating incised wound across her throat that severed both carotid arteries and jugular veins, nearly decapitating her, leading to exsanguination (massive blood loss). She also had defensive wounds on her hands and a large bruise on her back consistent with being subdued. This is documented in the Los Angeles County Coroner's autopsy report, trial testimony (e.g., from forensic pathologists like Dr. Werner Spitz), and sources such as Wikipedia, court records, and major news outlets.
O.J. Simpson was charged with the murders but acquitted in the 1995 criminal trial. In a 1997 civil wrongful death suit brought by the Brown and Goldman families, he was found liable and ordered to pay damages. The case remains officially unsolved with no other suspects identified, though the Brown family has long maintained Simpson's guilt
