Geez. I have just not wanted to come onto this page knowing the sad and tragic circumstances - even though I have been here before. But there have been other places where she shows up and she was so incredibly beautiful - she was in her prime during the initial years of my own early adolescent "discoveries." Although I relied, at that time, on my father's hidden stash of magazines, I do not recall Dorothy in any of them. I have added Dorothy to my "Classic Beauties" list, and I won't debate the aspects of her passing - I am no expert about her history, but I do recognize true beauty when I see it.
