Nana Visitor is an American actress, mostly known for her role as Major (later Colonel) Kira Nerys in Star Trek: Deep Space 9, a role she reprised as a voice role in Star Trek: Lower Decks and the MMORPG Star Trek Online. She was briefly married to DS9 co-star Siddig el-Fadil/Alexander Siddig and had one son with him. More recently, she starred as the antagonist in the sci-fi short film Friends of Sophia.
