Tenitra Michelle Williams (born July 23, 1979) is an American gospel and R&B singer, songwriter, and actress.
She was a background singer for Monica (singer), before rising to fame as one-third of the successful Grammy Award-winning musical group Destiny's Child, the world's best-selling female group of all time, selling over 100 million records worldwide.

Destiny's Child is an American pop and R&B girl group.
They were founded in Houston, Texas.
They formed in 1997.
Originally a quartet called Girl's Tyme, the group eventually became a trio whose members were Beyonce Knowles, Kelly Rowland, and Michelle Williams (singer).
According to the World Music Awards, Destiny's Child is the best selling female group of all time.
