Megan Amram is an American comedy writer, producer and actress. She is best known as one of the lead writers for the sitcoms Parks & Recreation and The Good Place. She was also on the writing staff for The Simpsons, Transparent, Silicon Valley and Children's Hospital. She appeared as an actress on Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. She won acclaim as the writer, producer and star of the web series An Emmy for Megan, a comedy chronicling her attempts to win an Emmy Award. The series did in fact receive multiple Emmy nominations.

Amram was the author of the satirical science textbook Science...For Her!, which was a parody of school science textbooks crossed with Cosmopolitan magazine. It featured witty presentations of hard science facts combined with glamorous photo spreads of Amram, often displaing copious amounts of cleavage.

She is also the author of multiple well-received articles in the New Yorker, Vulture, McSweeney's and multiple other publications.
