My father was an upstanding Southern Baptist, a deacon in the church, but when Pamela Sue Martin (Nancy Drew!!!) appeared in Playboy, he bought my early teen self a copy, and told me to hide it from my mom. A Kate Bush-level combination of ridiculous, stunning physical beauty and visionary, genius-level musicianship. Danielle had the bad timing to release the only one of her albums that was less than stellar right when she was on the cusp of breaking through to the big time, and she decided to retire from music and go into interior design, where I gather she's had a long and successful career. But everything she recorded in the 80s was spectacular - a sometimes bizarre but always catchy mix of goth, punk, dream pop and dance.

I went into the theater to see The Golden Voyage of Sinbad in 1973 as a mere 10-year-old boy. After a couple of hours being exposed to Caroline Munro, I emerged from the theater with a full beard, a voice several registers deeper and my testicles had descended.

Then a few years later in the next Sinbad movie, there was Jane Seymour at her most jaw-droppingly beautiful, sunbathing naked on the beach. Say what you will about stop motion animation, the most spectacular visuals in Ray Harryhausen movies were usually the girls.

I don't think her birthdate is correct, though. She appeared in Playboy Newsstand Specials as far back as 2002, which would put her at 13 years old if she was born in 1989, which if true, yikes! In more ways than one.

Hard to believe it's been nearly 40 years since I went in to the convenience store a couple of towns over, looked around to make sure nobody I knew was on the premises, then asked to see the binder they kept under the counter. Thumbing through the collection of covers of the porn VHS tapes they had to rent, I stopped dead when I got to a cover featuring an extraordinarily beautiful blonde with gorgeous eyes and magnificent tits. I wasted no time renting it (I believe it was a film called Tres Riche, but was maybe The $5 Million Cherry), and went home to watch it, where I was happy to see she looked every bit as amazing fucking as she did on the tape cover. Thus Samantha Strong became my first favorite porn star - at least the first one it's still legal to admit to being a fan of.

While it's true she did get a boob job to firm things up later in her career, it's a shame that fact overshadows that in her early career, her tits were 100% natural, and they were magnificent.
