About Mary Lynn Neil

Mary-Lynn is an Edmonton, Alberta-based singer, songwriter and glamour model.

In 2008, at the age of 10, she was discovered by Brian Dolph of Cafe Music Group at a singing competition in Consecon, Ontario. Her first single, "A Daughter's Prayer", was written for her father, Master-Corporal Mike Neil, while he was serving with the Canadian Armed Forces in Afghanistan. The song was written as a poem in her journal in January 2009 and was turned into a song after her mother, Donna Neil, recognized the message in the lyrics. It was recorded in Nashville, Tennessee through Cafe Music Group, with vocals recorded at Longshot Studio in Kingston, Ontario. Mary-Lynn was 12 at the time.

"A Daughter's Prayer" received airplay in 26 countries. It continues to be played for Remembrance Day, Memorial Day and ANZAC Day.

Mary Lynn is basically perfect, and spectacularly so. I cannot identify a single physical aspect of her that isn't impressive. It's cool that's she's Canadian too; chalk one up for the beauty of North America. Also, she reminds me of a (in my opinion) way hotter version of Iryna Ivanova.
