About Marine Delplace

Marine Delplace, better known mononymously as Marine, is a French singer, pianist, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who became a household name in France after winning the 12th season of Star Academy in January 2025.
Born and raised in Arras (northern France), she developed a passion for music very early : she started piano lessons at age 6, later adding ukulele and cello to her skills.
At 15 she made her first television appearance on The Voice Kids (season 2015), already showing a mature and sensitive voice.
Before fully committing to music, Marine studied dentistry for several years, but eventually chose to pursue her artistic career.
After several years of building experience (notably appearing on programs such as Foudre Avec Waxx), her real breakthrough came in late 2024 when she entered Star Academy on TF1.
Her vocal technique, emotional delivery, versatility across pop, soul and chanson française, as well as her natural charm and petite figure quickly made her one of the public’s favorites.
She won the competition on January 25, 2025, beating strong contenders in a very watched finale.
Since her victory, Marine has released her debut singles, started a first concert tour (despite some reported organizational challenges during the early dates), and appeared regularly in French media.
Her intimate, heartfelt style and genuine personality continue to seduce a wide audience.
Before Star Academy she had already accumulated several years of stage and TV experience.
In a relationship with Jeoffrey Dandy, her guitarist and musical director, Marine Delplace shares a bond often described as passionate and creative.
Very much present together backstage and after concerts, they have been spotted on outings in Paris, reinforcing the image of a very close duo.
On stage, their closeness and chemistry—she on vocals, he on guitar—do not go unnoticed and fuel the audience's enthusiasm.
