Lisa Kennedy Montgomery, known professionally simply as Kennedy, is an American television personality, political commentator, radio and podcast host, and author whose career has bridged popular music, entertainment, and political media. She first became nationally known in the 1990s as an MTV VJ, joining the network in 1992 and becoming closely associated with Alternative Nation, MTV’s influential alternative-rock program. She later worked as an MTV News correspondent and expanded into radio, game shows, and other television hosting roles.

Kennedy joined Fox Business Network as a contributor in 2012 and later hosted the primetime program Kennedy until June 2023. She currently serves as a Fox News Media contributor, appearing regularly on programs such as The Five, Outnumbered, and Gutfeld! and hosts the Fox News Audio podcast Kennedy Saves the World. Known for commentary that often emphasizes individual liberty and limited government, she has described her political outlook in strongly libertarian terms. Kennedy is also the author of Hey Ladies!
