Lily Aster Gottfried is an American filmmaker, producer, and TikTok personality from New York City. She is the daughter of the late comedian and actor Gilbert Gottfried (1955–2022) and film producer Dara Kravitz. Attending the University of Texas at Austin after high school, Lily is of Ashkenazi Jewish descent through her father’s Polish-Jewish-Russian lineage and of mixed ethnicity through her mother.

Lily is an emerging filmmaker with some award-winning short films:, including The Hidden Talent of Gilbert Gottfried (2023), a documentary inspired by her father’s death from myotonic dystrophy type II in 2022. She also worked on Stand by Me – The Birth of the Supportive Housing Movement, inspired by her internship at Saint Francis Friends of the Poor, which documents the origins of supportive housing for the homeless with mental illness.

Lily introduced her father to TikTok, inspiring some of his comedic skits, and appeared with her family on Celebrity Wife Swap in 2013, where she proudly referenced Gilbert’s role as Iago in Disney’s Aladdin.
