Leonarda Jonie (born Leonarda Gjoni) is a Montenegrin-born American comedian, actress, writer, and producer.
Jonie was born in Montenegro to a Albanian father and a Montenegrin mother and raised in New York City. She moved from New York to Austin, Texas to further her stand-up comedy career.
Jonie’s comedy has been characterized by supporters as deliberately confrontational and provocative, often addressing topics that many audiences find uncomfortable or taboo.
