About Katia D'Angelo

Katia made her television debut in 1974 in the telenovela Supermanuela, on Rede Globo. On the same network, she acted in classic telenovelas like Escalada, Anjo Mau, and Nina.

In cinema, she debuted in Delicious Betrayals of Love. In 1979, she starred in her most successful film, The Case of Claudia, based on the famous homicide case of Cláudia Lessin Rodrigues, which took place in Rio de Janeiro.

She received the Kikito award for Best Actress at the Gramado Festival for her performance in the film Heavy Load, directed by Reginaldo Faria.

Kátia D'Ângelo posed nude for the Brazilian edition of Playboy in its fourth-anniversary edition, in August 1979 (issue no. 49).

She directed one of the most successful children's plays of the 1990s, Looking for a Friend, which ran for several years in Rio de Janeiro. She introduced names like actresses Natalia_Lage and Tais_Araujo.
