Katarina is the oldest of child of three and takes great pride in being an example to her younger sister and brother. She grew up in Minnetonka, Minnesota, and living in the land of 10,000 lakes has made her an avid lover of nature and being on the lake.
Deciding to stay close to home, Katarina furthered her education as a first-generation college student and pursued a path in business law and marketing at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. Since attending the U of M, Katarina has been recognized by Alpha Epsilon Phi’s honor roll, the university dean’s list, and has received the President’s Emerging Scholarship.
Katarina currently works as a commercial model, has been seen in advertisements for Target, walked in bridal runways, and is published in two Parisian magazines. She has become passionate about encouraging young women to be themselves through practicing self-care and loving who they are.
Katarina Spasojevic was crowned Miss Minnesota USA 2021 on 1st August 2021 at the Ames Center in Burnsville. She succeeds and was crowned by Miss Minnesota USA 2020 Taylor Fondie.
